About Us

Our Vision, Our Mission, and Our Way Forward
Trinity Bethlehem is currently moving through a transformative chapter in our history. Following a significant water main break that displaced us from our home, we have spent the early months of 2026 engaged in a deep process of spiritual discernment. This work has allowed us to look back at our rich heritage while looking forward to a future defined by growth and service.

During this time, our leadership and congregation collaborated to draft foundational statements that define exactly who we are and where we are going.

Our Vision
"Guided by faith, we envision a vibrant and inclusive community that nurtures spiritual growth and promotes justice and advocacy for the most vulnerable while serving the greater community and honoring our rich heritage."

Our Mission
"Our mission is to honor our Anglican heritage through worship, faith formation and ministry, by: knowing Christ and making Him known; fostering an inclusive and welcoming congregation; and actively serving the greater community."

While we await the return to our sanctuary, Trinity remains a church in action. We are taking a measured, thoughtful approach to our revitalization, phasing in new programs throughout the year to ensure each one is built on a foundation of success. Currently, we are focusing our energy on strengthening our pastoral care. Our already strong outreach activities will be expanding with group volunteering. Fellowship activities remain important to Trinity.  We enjoy monthly brunches, group outings to local professional hockey and baseball games and other new group activities being announced in 2026.  Our commitment to the wider community remains steadfast, with upcoming participation in Lehigh Valley Pride and other advocacy-based events.

The restoration of our physical home is progressing steadily. The work is ramping up quickly with an expected Grand Opening in the third quarter of 2026. It is only through the efforts of our engaged congregation and support of our construction team that the rebirth of our home facility can occur.  We look forward to sharing this new space with our community of neighbors and friends.
Please Join Us on Our Journey
In our Baptismal Covenant we commit ourselves "to seek and serve Christ in all persons, to strive for justice and peace among all people, and to respect the dignity of every human being."

At Trinity, these are not just empty words, but reflect our deepest desire to be a welcoming, loving, affirming, inclusive, and diverse community. We believe that every person has unique gifts, talents, and abilities to offer.

Perhaps you are what we have been lacking?

Pause, listen, and choose to follow Jesus.
Like the disciples, we are called by Jesus to follow the Way of Love. With God’s help, we can turn from the powers of sin, hatred, fear, injustice, and oppression toward the way of truth, love, hope, justice, and freedom. In turning, we reorient our lives to Jesus Christ, falling in love again, again, and again.
