Trinity Altar Guild

​Altar Guild is one of the (generally) quiet, behind the scenes ministries that is essential for the beauty of the church and the services. Rooted in an Episcopal tradition that began in the late nineteenth century, the altar guild is a gift of time and talent to serve God in His house. According to the Episcopal Dictionary, this ministry cares for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. We prepare the sanctuary for services and clean up afterwards, and we also supervise the decoration of the sanctuary.

While tending the altar and the church is what we do, we are a team that enjoys the history and hospitality that Trinity’s sacristy offers. We can’t wait to be back in our “home.” We continue to research Trinity’s history and treasures and are always excited when we find new treasures.
