This is the first communication we have had from the Land's and Wallace's regarding the arrival of Bishop Paul Marshall in Swaziland.  Their email is reproduced below and beneath that are a number of pictures taken on their arrival.

Dear Bill & Nick,
Just a brief note to let you know, if you don’t already, that +Pauk arrived OK and has been traveling around for the past two days on a whirlwind tour arranged by Ned.I am attaching a photo(hopefully) of a picture of his arrival at the airport at Matsapha, a small town outside of Manzini, the largest city in Swaziland. I’ll also try to attach several photos of out trip yesterday to Good Shepherd Hospital and Swazilad Hospice at Home.

Good Shepherd Hospital is in Siteki (pronounced Stagy), has a total of 125 beds and there were approximately 200 patients. Many of the wards had people lying on mattresses on the floor. The staff does a marvelous job with the resources available, but the needs a so great and the resources very limited. The Children’s ward undid me! Beautiful kids and happy, although their circumstances were less than satisfactory. They are getting great care as the staff of nurses and Drs. do a marvelous job.

The trip to Swazilad Hospice at Home was equally rewarding, as the two people we met, Sibusiso, a native Swazi and a trained nurse, and Mary, a two year volunteer from the UK. They are both dedicated people, trying to deal with the AIDS epidemic that has affected a third of the population. We presented them with some of the sweaters (they call them jerseys) we had collected and Ned gave them some money raised by their family to buy medicine for them to use in their work with terminally ill patients.

This is getting long-winded, so I’ll close and try to attach a couple of photos. Hope all is well there. Please note my E-Mail address and keep in touch!
Yours in Christ,
Dan & Maggie.
