INTERFAITH COALITION ON POVERTY is an ecumenical organization of congregations and individuals established to aid people in poverty who are attempting to adapt to welfare reform. One of their programs is Relational Sponsorship. A team within the parish is assigned a family by the Interfaith Coalition. Working together they try to ease the welfare-to-self-sufficiency transition for the family. At Trinity Janice Squires (610-481-4739) and Marcie Lightwood (610-694-8946) are direct contact persons. Gloria Tarby, Rick Sumner, Dolores Caskey, and Maggie Land are support members.
