On a beautiful June 10 morning in the (Bethlehem Township Municipal) park, the parish held its last 10:30 worship service and its last Sunday School session for the summer. Claire Hornung, Director of Youth Ministries, and other Sunday School teachers distributed certificates to the children, Donna and Robert Lawrence thanked the acolytes, and Fr. Nick Knisely relinquished his guitar long enough to distribute comic book Bibles (don't gasp; they get read!) to the confirmation class. Senior Warden Michael Bryant congratulated Fr. Nick on the 10th anniversary of his ordination and read a letter from Bishop Paul Marshall. The Vestry lost again! to the children at kickball.
